Fivegold is a playful nod to the Chinese word「五金」, literally translated as “five golds,” commonly used to mean hardware. It loosely refers to five metals: gold, silver, brass, iron, and tin.

Each piece is designed and handcrafted by Xuefei Yan in Brooklyn, New York. With a background in architecture across Shanghai, Denmark, and New York, Xuefei now enjoys finding form and space at a much smaller scale.
